Based on the agent&#8217;s lackluster response, I don&#8217;t think I can expect to win any invites to send a full.<\/p>\n<p>I can only hope this agent  wasn&#8217;t one of those on my short list.<\/p>\n<p>The agent passed on a few entries I liked, but also expressed interest in one I liked. <a href=\"http:\/\/seesarawrite.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/moment-youve-all-been-waiting-for-book.html\"><b>(The pirate story.)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whenever I receive a rejection my inclination is to do the following:<\/p>\n<p>1. Go back and try to improve and strengthen the writing. That&#8217;s probably a good reaction.<\/p>\n<p>2.
