Amelia sat down next to Owen and started\u00a0watching the movie with him, but not before she\u00a0purposely messed up his light brown hair with her\u00a0hand after sitting down.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey! Quit that,\u201d Owen said with an irritated\u00a0expression on his face.<\/p>\n

Owen then reached over and did the same thing\u00a0to her. She chuckled, turning her attention to the\u00a0television screen.<\/p>\n

\u2018You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot\u00a0of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of\u00a0underdone potato. There\u2019s more gravy than of grave\u00a0about you, whatever you are!\u2019<\/p>\n

Owen lost himself in the screen, as he often\u00a0did when watching something he was interested in.\u00a0He imagined himself as Ebenezer Scrooge looking\u00a0upon Marley\u2019s ghostly face. Marley\u2019s face morphed\u00a0into the image of Owen\u2019s father, the same image
\nthat was the face of The Second Pillar.<\/p>\n

Owen shook it off and got up to go grab some\u00a0leftover turkey from the refrigerator. He reached in\u00a0and pulled out a leg and some moist dark meat with\u00a0a bit of gravy and stuffing. He popped the plate of\u00a0food into the microwave for a minute and then returned\u00a0to the comfort of the couch.<\/p>\n
