Why Does My Blog Insist on Translating My Excerpt Into Chinese?

Do you have transliteration enabled in your ‘Settings’? I accidentally enabled Hindi once…

Hm. I assumed the Chinese characters were just gibberish. If it actually translated my prose into another language…that’s actually pretty cool.

I could reach out to a whole new audience…

I’m just wondering how they fit all 26,000 characters of the Chinese language on ONE keyboard. Ever thought of that?

The short answer is
not easily.

You can use the Pinyin Method, or the Wubi Method, the Zhuyin Method, the Canjjie Method or an electronic writing tablet.

Or apparently, you can just type it in English and then paste it into Blogger.

That was Chinese? I understood it perfectly! 😉

Wow. If only you could make blogger do this when you wanted blogger to this.

Also, computers in China have a program whereby you type in the basic symbols forms you need (the line shapes and such) and it brings up potential options, deleting the options as your additions rule them out. It’s sort of like T9.
